Family has always been important to carriage driver Peter Wilson, of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Growing up in St. Lucia, he was always there to help his uncle with the horses on the farm. These days, when Peter is not at work, he is with his children, either at home or at church.
“This job means everything to my family,” says Peter. “It puts food on the table. It pays the rent. I don’t know what I will do if the job I love is banned.”
