**The horses and the city (August 3, 2015: New York Daily News)**

Scottsdale, Ariz.: The carriage horses of New York City are a valuable asset to the city, both the horses and the people whose jobs are affected. People who know horses know they are well cared for and regulated. I live in Arizona and wish they were here. If they are removed, I will not be making any trips to N.Y.C. Pamela Newton
