Horse sense (May 11, 2014: New York Daily News)

Schroon Lake, N.Y.: Voicer Ali Riojas is a good example of how our educational system is not working. Riojas equates a man kicking a cat with the so-called abuse of the carriage horses. This is a false analogy. A friendly cat does not expect to be kicked. A horse is trained from the time it is born to be led, harnessed, saddled and bridled. It doesn’t hurt. It’s a way of life. Vanessa N. Weber
