Of course, of course (May 11, 2014: New York Daily News)

Chicago: People who think carriage horses are abused simply because they are pulling a carriage are ignorant of the fact that horses have been developed and used for centuries to do this very job. Horses have worked with humans to build cities, bring food, deliver mail and supply the simple conveniences that we all enjoy from our small apartments. Critics only see with blinders on and scream “cruel” when they don’t understand the equine-human relationship. When a horse is trained to pull a carriage, that becomes its job in life. They are happiest, as only horses can be, when they are working at what they know and what they do best. Kim
