Helping horses find homes (August 25, 2014: New York Daily News)

Brooklyn: All the carriage-horse owners and drivers I have had the privilege to interact with love and care for their horses. If they cannot keep their horses after they retire, they find new, loving homes for them. I have been able to personally help with placing five carriage horses. Four of those five horses were with me until they passed, and the other went to a great home. And now there is also Blue Star Equiculture, which the Horse & Carriage Association of New York City has named as its official retirement venue. Walker Blankinship
