Yonkers: I couldn’t agree more with Brendan Smith’s Op-Ed regarding our carriages horses (“Their hoofbeats, the city’s heartbeat,” Sept. 5). Our city’s past is linked tremendously to these majestic creatures, and to shut them down would result only in a terrible demise for these beloved animals. Chris White
