Money masks shame (December 8, 2014: New York Daily News)

Bronx: Where is the mayor’s sense of shame? Obviously it is buried in his special-interest-money-lined pockets. How dare he crush the carriage drivers whose old world charms bring smiles to most all who are lucky enough to ride with them or see the carriages lined up at the gateway to the park looking smart and painting an inviting a backdrop to our great city as any steel skyscraper? Who on earth would rather drive a cab than chaperone tourists through Central Park with the charm and elegance the drivers bring to their trade? Mary McAllister
