Manhattan: Voicer Allie Feldman describes “screaming children” and a “shrieking kid” when referring to interactions between humans and working animals, such as Central Park carriage horses. Most times, when children are interacting with carriage horses, it is with smiles of delight and offerings of carrots. How foolish would it be to forever banish these majestic animals from the very city they helped to build while, at the same time, depriving children of vital and positive connections with animals other than house pets? Patty Adjamine
